Five Shopify fixes that help small stores convert

Quick changes to product pages, checkout and email that make it easier for visitors to buy.

1. Clear product photos and sizes

Show the product from several angles, in use, and next to something for scale. A lot of hesitation on small stores comes from not knowing what will arrive.

2. Shipping costs before checkout

State delivery prices and times on the product page. Customers who meet a surprise at the last step often leave and don’t come back.

3. A faster store on phones

Large images and too many apps slow a store down, especially on mobile. Compress images, remove apps you don’t use and test your speed again.

4. Simple bundles

Offer two or three products that go well together at a small discount. Bundles raise the average order without needing more visitors.

5. A welcome email and an abandoned cart email

These two emails work in the background for every visitor who signs up or starts a checkout. Write them once, keep them short and link straight back to the product.
